Where the Wild Things Are

Is anyone else super excited to see this movie today? As a child, I read and re-read Where the Wild Things Are (along with Amelia Bedelia books) until the book fell apart. I recently found another copy at a used bookstore and it nostalgically sits on my bookshelf today.

I loved that book too and read it so many times! I'll need to find it at a bookstore and read it again for old time's sake!

I always read books when I was a kid, but for some reason I never read "Where the Wild Things Are"

It makes me wonder what I missed out on.

It's such a good book. I'm not sure when the movie launches in UK not this month though...

I loved the book as a kid, and my son loves it now . . .but I'm not too excited for the movie. I'm thinking it'll ruin my "mental version" of the book.
