Etsy Feature: Ashleybug Designs

Before selling my designs on etsy, I was a buyer/window shopper and always appreciated the talent and creativity of the artists. I plan to feature a fellow etsian at least weekly on my blog to not only showcase their amazing talent but to also share some of my favorite things with you. So without further adieu, here is my first etsy feature...

Ashley of Ashleybug Designs has been crafting since she was little and started selling her beautiful stationary on etsy when she decided to make her own wedding invitations in 2007. One of my favorite things about Ashley's shop is that she is planning on making the switch to 100% recycled or handmade paper by the end of 2008. A stationary designer who saves trees!

When asked what she loves about stationary design, Ashley responds, "You have more immediate results - they don't take days like a painting or knitting project might. I love to do those things, but I tend to lose interest if a project takes too long". I can totally relate to that, I have been crocheting the same blanket for the past 3 years!

Ashley's favorite item in her shop is her felted blue lace card and I would have to agree! Not only is it gorgeous, but it is also perfect for just about any occasion.
