Lynsi said...: Be You is actually my favorite item in the shop. I have been wanting to re-do my art room with art I derivee inspiration from and this pice speaks to me. First of all, the birds look like ones my husband and I had on our wedding cake this past January. Secondly, it is very pink ! It says "Be You" and I feel it IS very me ! I love it !

Lately I have been a little creatively blocked. I would love to surround my self with this inspirational piece and be able to create from something that was created by someone else on Etsy, not someone famous, just a wonderful artist making wonderful art.

This week I had my wisdom teeth out and it was other Etsy artists that got me through the week. I had no money from the oral surgey and having to replace my laptop but my fellow etsians were there. I traded for the first time this week and then several times over. I really can appreciate being a part of the art community, it really help distracted me from the pain.

Be you is an awesome piece! Anyone would be VERY lucky to have it hanging in there home. Thank you for sharing your art with us, even for those of use that do not win.

Tina Bena said...: There were 3 that I'd consider my fav'z...but since I can only choose 1 it would have to be the "Mothers & Daughters" canvas! Soooo stinkin' cute & soooo precious! I have little 6 ones...4 of them are girlies! So, this one REALLY grabbed my heart! Moms and daughters just have this type of relationship that no one else can really touch. It's a bond like no other.

Now, in saying that...I didn't grow up with my own mother (I'm a Daddy's girl!) but my Grandmother was a truly amazing woman! I believe with all of my heart that because of who she was, has made me who I am...and in turn has also impacted the relationships I have with my own girls. I treasure those relationships and praise God for them!
