I'm quickly learning that my beloved heels are not very pregnancy friendly, so I'm on the search for some cute flats. I love colorful and unique shoes but I don't want something super expensive because summer is just around the corner here in Arizona and I'll soon be on a sandal search. Any suggestions?

I don't know if you already read academichic.com, but last summer one of the contributors was pregnant and said that wedges were pretty functional if you still want to wear heels. She had a lot of neat preggers style advice.
Awesome, thanks I'll check it out!
Ooh, you'll definitely want nice soft leather straps, so your little feet have room to expand. No plastic as that will cause blisters!
I love wearing ballerina flats.
You've got to check out www.prettyballerinas.com
They have new 2010 summer flats!
Those are cute!I never had problems with feet in shoes during either pregnancy.I guess I was lucky.I had friends who had swollen feet everyday of theres though.I will check out the sites there, thanks. To Duni up there I will check out hers too.

The Mia flat in the above link are my absolute favorites, very comfy and chic. I have them in purple reptile. I highly recommend!
Just a note, remember that arch support or your feet will flatten out a bit--and there's just no coming back from that! Ask my size 9 feet.
I just bought these hand painted ones on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=42693825
I have the yellow (and green!) Merona flats, and I love them. I am just about seven months pregnant, and I noticed my feet changing a little bit. So, you might want to go up half a size, depending on your feet-swelling situation ;) But other than that, I find them comfortable and fun!
Thanks so much for all of the advice and suggestions ladies!!
Cole Haan Air Zanna! I just bought a pair in red for a trip to Europe and it's a ballet flat that feels like a sneaker. I've never felt anything like it. Most definitely worth every single penny!
