I Won, I Won!!

I just checked the mail and inside was a beautiful Kanzashi or hair ornament by Sarah of Random Cat Girl. I won it in a blog giveaway hosted by Kat's Life. It is gorgeous in person and I can't wait to wear it! According to the description on Random Cat Girl's listing, "It was made using the tsumami method which is a traditional Japanese technique of pinching and folding squares of cloth to make flowers of different types. Most tsumami kanzashi are made from silk, but my more everyday kanzashi are made of cotton fabric and constructed to put up with heavier wear".

The day before yesterday I checked my email and I was the winner of a blog contest hosted by Heart Hugs! I won my choice of any 3 PDF pendant square sheets by Jennifer of studio 71design! I picked Garden Mix in "lillifee", Retro Circles in "lillifee" & Damask in "mod1". I can't wait to make magnets and pendants out of these cute designs!

Wow I'm never this lucky!! Thank you Sarah and Jennifer!!
