I'm stunned by the news of Michael Jackson's passing. Regardless of his numerous plastic surgeries and bizarre behavior, his impact on music and culture was profound. One of my first cassette tapes (yes, I said cassette tapes) was Dangerous and I can remember being allowed to stay up late to watch the premiere of the Black or White music video.
