Goodbye Heels, Hello Flats
I'm quickly learning that my beloved heels are not very pregnancy friendly, so I'm on the search for some cute flats. I love colorful and unique shoes but I don't want something super expensive because summer is just around the corner here in Arizona and I'll soon be on a sandal search. Any suggestions?

Retail Therapy
Hello, my name is Vanessa, and I’m a shoe-a-holic!
As some of you may already know, I have a little thing for shoes (some might call it an obsession). My shoes are taking over my closet and plan to push Mr. Designs by Vanessa's clothes out of their tiny corner soon (muahahahaha). Check out my most recent retail therapy purchase (aren't they pretty!):

Hello, my name is Vanessa, and I’m a shoe-a-holic!
Hubby: Can we go home? I don't think I can take another shoe store.
Me: Keep up, we are on a shoe mission!
Hubby: We've already been to 4 stores.
Me: And here is our 5th store.
5 stores later and I found the perfect sandals...

If the Shoe Fits...
This month’s Etsy Blogger Carnival asks us to blog about our favorite fairytale and parallels to real life. Hands down my favorite fairytale is Cinderella. She’s fashionable, has a shoe fetish, awesome friends and marries a prince. What’s not to love?!
As for any parallels to my own life, I'm not so sure...
As awesome as my best friends are, they are not mice.
I wasn't raised by an evil step mother.
A Fairy Godmother never gave me fabulous clothes.
Turning into a pumpkin or not, I would never leave my favorite shoe behind.

Can't a girl get some pink shoes?

Me: Yes, I’m looking for some pink athletic shoes.
Store Associate: Running shoes, walking shoes, cross-training shoes, track and field shoes, off road shoes, basketball shoes, tennis shoes, sport casual shoes….
Me: Umm anything pink
Who knew that there were so many types of “athletic shoes”! Can someone please tell me what the difference is between “running shoes” and “basketball shoes”? Don’t you have to run while playing basketball? And what is the difference between "athletic shoes" and "sport casual shoes"? Aren't athletic shoes sporty and casual? Quiz me on my heels- I could totally tell you the difference between pumps, wedges, sandals and their various categories!

Hello, my name is Vanessa, and I’m a shoe-a-holic!
I fully intended to walk into the shoe store today to buy a pair of running shoes to replace my old ones. As I walked into the store I was faced with a fork in the road- to the left were boring running shoes and to the right were beautiful pumps and sandals. What is a girl to do? My feet pulled me to the left but I was "just looking" because I was on a strict running shoe mission. I was so proud of myself for "just looking" as I admired how great the rows of pumps would look on my feet but not even stopping to try them on...that was until I saw these...
It was love at first sight! I thought, "I'll just try them on, no harm in trying them on". Needless to say, I now own some very cute Nina Doll shoes and no new running shoes.
My hubby: "Let's see your running shoes"
Me: "Did I say I was getting running shoes? Well I guess I could run in these if I had to"
