Fabulous Find: Bridal Dress Hanger
Tons of my friends got engaged over the holidays and I'm super excited for them for a purely selfish reason - I get to re-live wedding planning vicariously through them! Maybe I'm in the minority but I had a blast planning my wedding. I loved everything about it, from picking out the dress to choosing the menu! I wish I could plan another wedding but until I can convince Mr. Designs by Vanessa to do a vow renewal, I'm happy with sharing in my friends' happiness. Check out this awesome personalized bridal hanger I found on Etsy, such a great idea and it would look perfect in pictures! Would it be strange if I ordered one of these for myself and had my dress re-photographed with it almost 3 years post-wedding?

2 Fabulous Years
Mr. Designs by Vanessa and I have been married for 2 fabulous years today! We celebrated over the weekend with fondue and we're planning on watching our wedding video tonight (a little tradition we started last year). This year we decided to make each other something...I'm excited to see what Mr. Designs by Vanessa came up with!
In perfect timing for our "cotton anniversary", we recently received our amazing canvas print from Photo-Canvas. I just had to share because they did such a great job and I just love looking at it lol.

Birthday Proposal
Time for an Etsy Blogger Blog Carnival (say that 5 times fast) and the topic is to blog about a favorite birthday memory. Hands down my favorite birthday memory is from just 3 years ago…
Hubby made dinner reservations at one of my fave downtownAustin restaurants and when we walked outside the restaurant there was a horse drawn carriage waiting for us. Hubby is actually a pretty romantic guy (yes I used “romantic” and “guy” in the same sentence…there is hope) so I just thought this was part of my birthday surprise. As we were trotting along and the sun was setting, Hubby asked me to be part of his family (how cute is that). I think my first response was “are you serious?” and then he pulled out the ring and I knew he was talking business!
I feel a little bad for future birthdays because how in the world can they compete with a proposal?! This so would have been my cake topper if I had seen it while I was planning...

Wedding Bling
A good friend of mine recently asked me to design jewelry for her wedding and I just had to share her gorgeous pictures with you. I'm so happy for her and thrilled that I was able to be part of her special day in this way.
The beautiful bride wore my Simplicity Crystal & Pearl Earrings and a custom designed necklace with 6mm white Swarovski pearls/crystals.

Gina's lovely bridesmaids wore custom designed earrings, necklaces and bracelets composed of 4mm and 8mm Light Green Swarovski pearls.

Bride Wars

The hubby and I just got home from seeing Bride Wars and I LOVED it! Hubs didn't hate it and that is always a good sign for a chick flick.
The movie is basically about 2 best friends planning their dream weddings but due to a scheduling mishap they were booked for the same date and same time...oops. Bring out the bridezilla claws!
I could totally relate to the wedding planning

Bunnies and Beads
I hope everyone had a super weekend! Yesterday my hubby and I went to see House Bunny and I thought it was hilarious! Anna Faris should totally be on SNL. If you want to see a fun chick flick this movie is for you.
I love getting in new shipments of jewelry findings and beads. Here are my latest creations. Click on the pictures for more info.

Living Happily Ever After
One year ago today my husband and I said "I Do" in Anaheim, CA. That is right, we got married in the house of the mouse...well actually in the garden of the mouse complete with Cindy's coach. This past year just flew by but it has been an amazing adventure with such an amazing husband. Happy Anniversary to a supportive, loving and caring husband!!

In honor of our anniversary, I thought I would share just a few of my DIY wedding crafts with you.

I DO
"I DO Illusion Necklace" is the perfect necklace for a special occasion. This necklace is made using Swarovski 6mm clear crystals, Swarovski 6mm white pearls, accu-flex clear wire, and a dainty silver barrel clasp. These pictures do not do this beautiful necklace justice...I'm working on perfecting my picture taking skills.
This necklace is approximately 16 inches.
