Bunnies and Beads

I hope everyone had a super weekend! Yesterday my hubby and I went to see House Bunny and I thought it was hilarious! Anna Faris should totally be on SNL. If you want to see a fun chick flick this movie is for you.

I love getting in new shipments of jewelry findings and beads. Here are my latest creations. Click on the pictures for more info.

I was featured!

Happy Thursday! My parents will be flying into Austin,TX tomorrow for my b-day weekend so I probably won't be blogging in the next few days but I hope everyone has a super weekend. I'll be turning the big 2-6 (ahhh I'm officially in my "late 20's") on Saturday.

In other jewelry related news, my Funky Fun Wrap Bracelet was featured in Cool Crafty Mom's Blog! Thank you so much for featuring my bracelet!

My first etsy sale!

I sold 4 pieces yesterday on etsy!! I hope my customers enjoy wearing these pieces as much as I have enjoyed creating them! I always love seeing other people having fun wearing my designs.

I've been busy listing additional items. Check out these new designs in my etsy shop...

"Earrings of the Earth": These amazing blue/green glass beads remind me of planet earth. In addition to the round glass beads, I used sparkly 4mm crysolite green Swarovski crystals attached to hypoallergenic nickel-free ear wires. These earrings are approximately 2 inches long.

"Purple Passion Wrap Bracelet" This beautiful bracelet is made using different shades of iridescent and solid purple oblong glass beads, 6mm Czech lavender iridescent glass beads and memory wire. This bracelet wraps around the wrist 3 times and is one size fits all.

"Pleasantly Purple Earrings":
These beautiful round purple glass beads pleasantly capture the sunlight just right. In addition to the 8mm round glass beads, I used sparkly 6mm clear Swarovski crystals attached to hypoallergenic nickel-free ear wires. These earrings are approximately 1 ¾ inches.

I'm headed to the gym now but I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

I hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend! Tonight we're headed to "First Thursday" here in Austin, TX...live music, shopping and arts & crafts...sounds like fun to me! I'll be working on getting my etsy shop up and running this weekend so be on the lookout for the grand opening :-)

I love these funky flowery glass beads! In addition to the glass beads, I used sparkly 4mm green "peridot" Swarovski crystals attached to hypoallergenic nickel-free ear wires.

Goodbye Tacky, Hello Beautiful!

I found these awesome blue glass square beads in the package my dad sent me yesterday. They were part of a tacky 70's/80's style necklace lol. In addition to the glass beads, I used sparkly 4mm light sapphire Swarovski crystals attached to hypoallergenic nickel-free ear wires.

"Beautiful Blue": This sparkly cuff bracelet is made with 4mm light sapphire Swarovski crystals, metal sliders with light sapphire Swarovski crystals, silver spacer beads and memory wire. Four dangles are attached to the ends of the memory wire loops. This bracelet is sold but I can certainly create something similar for you.

I think I'm addicted!

I officially think I'm addicted to making jewelry and blogging! My hubby gets to play his video games while I'm busy beading so I'm pretty sure he likes this new obsession of mine.

I think I have a new favorite pair of earrings. These dangle earrings are made using awesome blue/green glass beads, topaz/purple Czech glass beads, and hypoallergenic nickel-free ear wires.

The next 3 pairs of earrings are made using topaz and/or clear glass beads, silver spacer beads, and hypoallergenic nickel-free ear wires. The simplistic yet fun designs allow them to be worn with just about any outfit.

Jewelry of the Sea

I fell in love with these awesome blue/green glass beads and I knew they would be perfect for a funky pair of earrings. In addition to the glass beads, I used sparkly 4mm bicone aqua and crysolite green Swarovski crystals attached to hypoallergenic nickel-free ear wires. These are my favorite pair of earrings so far!

This funky wrap bracelet is made using oblong Czech sea color glass beads, 6mm Czech olive color glass beads and memory wire. This bracelet wraps around the wrist 3 times and is one size fits all. To finish off the bracelet, I added two dangles on the ends of the memory wire loops made with glass beads and silver spacer beads.
